The best Mother's Day gift was the proclamation from Abby as she threw her training wheels in the dumpster-

MORE.

The second best gift was a whole day to sit around drinking ice tea made from my new ice tea maker, while reading my new Kindle. Yes, I know I am lucky!

Farewell Friend...

In December 1998 he came to live with us. He slept in my bed, we shared a pillow. He learned quickly that he could lick anyone expect me (crazy puppy saliva allergy). When Steve's dog, Cody died his heart was broken, and returned to our bed- imagine huge pregnant lady, a 6'2" man, and an 70 pound "baby". He was our first baby, when we brought Jack home from the hospital he assumed the role of proud big brother and protector. His favorite things to do- catch the ball, swim in the lake, eat peaches and nectarines off the trees in the orchard and ride in the car with Steve. Most recently he had become quite fond of cat food and Starbucks cups. When we moved to our house 6 years ago, he hid in the garage for months after getting shocked the first time from the invisible fence. He was able to complete much of his bucket list- camping at the beach, seeing the Grand Canyon, camping at the lake, sleeping inside after a 5 year banishment, having his "own" luxury swimming pool. We are all better people for having known him.

We will love and miss you forever, Maxwell Bernounski, our Polish Dog.

Just the Girls...

Naughty Leprechauns...

On St. Patrick's Day the Leprechauns were up to their naughty and nice tricks... At breakfast they magically colored the yogurt and milk GREEN!

In the afternoon, they tricked me in the McDonalds Drive through and threw in 2 Shamrock Shakes.

What a treat!

The best girls day!

Let me brag a little...

I am going to American Idol with my friend, Jennifer!!!

This Thursday night she and I will be at the elimination taping of American Idol!!! I am so excited!!!

This week's guests- Jamie Foxx, Will I. Am, Bruno Mars, and former Idol winner (?), Fantasia!!!

I'm a Tooth Loser...

In January, Abby lost her first tooth while in Disney World and then promptly lost her second tooth while on the airplane home from Disney World, somewhere over Nevada, I think. Tonight while eating dinner she discovered that her third tooth is loose! Just before bed I asked her if she was excited about loosing another tooth... her response...

Yes! I am a TOOTH LOSER!

If she only knew what she had said. I guess I would be happy about being a loser if it meant that I would be $5 close to this...
